Important Information about the COVID-19
RESUMING NORMAL BUSINESS OPERATIONS
During the COVID-19 State of Emergency, Aiken Electric Cooperative suspended all disconnections of service for nonpayment in an effort to help our members who were facing financial hardships.
On May 13, Governor McMaster made the decision that utilities could resume normal business operations to include disconnection of services for non-payment. We realize this is still a difficult time for many of our members and we take that very seriou...sly! That is why we are announcing today that we will continue to suspend disconnection of services for non-payment through June 7, 2020. We will begin disconnection of services for non-payment on June 8, 2020. This will allow our members, who are behind on payments, an opportunity to pay their balance or request a payment plan.
If you are having difficulties making your payment, there are help agencies that may be able to assist you with your utility bill. Here is contact information for those agencies:

Several other convenient payment options include automated phone payment, online at aikenco-op.org, drive-thru windows, payment kiosk (located in our office foyers and pay station sites), mobile app: AEC Mobile or text “PAY” to 352667.
