AIKEN ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.
RESIDENTIAL TIME-OF-USE SERVICE
SCHEDULE "R-TOU"
Effective on Bills Rendered on or After January 1, 2024.

AVAILABILITY
Available, on an optional basis, to any residential consumer of the Cooperative located on its lines for all types of service including power for motors; subject to the established rules and regulations of the Cooperative, and subject further to the availability of suitable metering equipment for measurement of service provided hereunder. This is an experimental rate and may be altered or discontinued at any time solely at the discretion of the Cooperative. Furthermore, the Cooperative may also limit the number of consumers served under this rate.

CHARACTER OF SERVICE
The type of service rendered under this schedule shall be alternating current, 60 hertz, single-phase at available voltage.

RATE
Service Charge $1.00  per day

Energy Charges
Summer (June - September) Energy Charge:
All On-Peak kWh @ 24.0¢ per kWh
All Off-Peak kWh @ 6.0¢ per kWh

Winter (October - May) Energy Charge:
All On-Peak kWh @ 20.0¢ per kWh
All Off-Peak kWh @ 6.0¢ per kWh

POWER COST ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE
The above rates shall be adjusted in accordance with Schedule PCA.

DETERMINATION OF ON-PEAK AND OFF-PEAK HOURS:
A. On-Peak Hours:
Summer Months (June - September)
1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Winter Months (October - May)
6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

B. Off-Peak Hours:
All hours not specified above as On-Peak Hours

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
The Cooperative shall have the right to install and operate special metering equipment as it deems appropriate to measure consumer’s loads and usage patterns and to obtain other data necessary to determine consumer’s load characteristics.

MINIMUM MONTHLY BILL
The minimum monthly charge for service rendered under this rate shall be $1.00 per day where 15 kVA of transformer capacity or less is required. For consumers requiring in excess of 15 kVA of installed transformer capacity, the above minimum charge may be increased by $.75 for each kVA or fraction thereof above 15 kVA which is applied by the Cooperative.

TERMS OF PAYMENT
The above rates are net. Bills are due when rendered and past due if not paid within 20 days of the billing date.
